The major professional organization for intravenous therapy nursing is the Infusion Nurses Society (INS). Registered nurses can earn the Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) credential through the Infusion Nurses Certification Corporation (INCC); this certification program is accredited by both the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and the American Board of Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC). The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts excellent, overall job growth for registered nurses. The median registered nurse salary is $62,450.
