A certified nursing assistant might help patients with grooming and eating, straighten up patients? rooms, escort them to exam rooms, take their pulse and more. The federal government requires nursing aides that work in nursing care facilities to complete a state-approved training program and pass an evaluation test to become certified. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts excellent job growth for nursing aides, orderlies and attendants, at 19%.
